Our Fun Day

Layne took some time off so we could have Spring Break together so yesterday we went and hit baseball's with my nephew Morgan and Cael wanted to be right in the action it was so fun...the kid can hold a bat both ways and he swings like Babe Ruth, I know I'm bias but I think he's cute :)We had a blast yesterday, I love it when we are all home & get to play!

Happy Birthday Chopper!

My little man turned 2 yesterday! I can't believe it's been two years already...he has gotten so big! If you ask him he's 4 but we had a blast celebrating his birthday. On Sunday he got to celebrate with his cousin Will they are 3 days apart and they were so cute. Will gave Cael a tractor and he hasn't stopped playing with it for two days! Then last night we had Layne's family over to celebrate it was so great to have everyone there, Cael got too many toys & was totally spoiled! But I guess that's the perks of being our only child!! Layne & I seriously love this stinkin' kid to death, he is so much fun and I can't imagine our life without him - we were so boring!! Happy Birthday Chopper!

Spring Was Here...

Cael has loved it being warm outside - until it snowed, we had been going out every day and he was all over the place. I bought a wagon to go in our yard and he loves to sit on it and drive the horses...every night we have to say prayers and watch Lonesome Dove before we go to bed and he thinks he's Gus in the wagon it's so stinkin' cute.


Layne & Cael have spending a lot of time together since I'm at work so they went to IFA and Cael saw the baby chicks and told his dad , "Chicks home dad"...so the Chick's came home! We have 4 baby chicks in our garage and Cael has to check on them every 5 minutes, it's been really cute to see him take care of his chickens! These pictures are bad ---my flash broke but I'll put some better ones up later!

Big Fish Lies

Layne has been ice fishing three times in the last week and every time he comes home he has caught so many fish and had so much fun...so we went on a date Friday night to Deer Creek fishing, and he lies! We didn't even get a bite! But it was still fun to be in the ice shack with him and just hang out for the night!

Well it's official, I am starting a new job February 1! There was an English opening at Pleasant Grove High School that I thought, I'll go interview for it and practice so then when I want to go back for next year I'll kind of be ready....well they offered me the job! Which I am so excited for but kind of sad too, I love teaching preschool & I love the kids but I need to go back to work full time too. So I am teaching 10th & 11th grade English and I went yesterday to meet with the English Department and see my classroom....oh I have a lot to do to get ready in one week! So while I was gone Layne & Cael took naps & then babysat each other...and when I got home these were the pictures I got to see! I don't know if me going to work full time is a good idea but Cael is going to love spending more time with his dad because he gets to do whatever he wants!! Like eat out of the Peanut Butter Jar! I love my two boys!

ScrapBook

I decided that since Layne has been working swings that I would work on Cael's scrapbook....so I went to where I left off....That was at his 1st birthday! I haven't even done his first birthday & he is going to be 2 in March!! I'm so crappy, I don't know what I have been doing but now I really have a lot to do and all I've done is the first page of his birthday party....I may be a year behind for a long time....oh well, it's kind of fun to see how much he's changed.

Cael's Birthday - & Christmas Morning this year!

101 Dalmatians

Cael has been into the 101 Dalmatians movie - but it has to be the real dogs, not the cartoon. Every morning I go in to get him from his crib and he says doggies mom, puppies mom. Pongo & Perdy take off running during the first of the movie and Roger & Anita are yelling at them.....well so does Cael! He yells PONGO, easy PONGO!!! It is so stinking funny, I can't believe how smart he is getting, he repeats everything he hears now which means he is also starting to talk like his dad and he keeps saying S*@! That is something we are working on as a family!!
