Archery Hunt

No we didn't die - I seriously took the summer off - and I haven't been on the computer from the end of June until now and school is starting and it sucks!! We had such a great summer - Cael took swimming lessons, gymnastics, we played, camped and just hung out. It has been great!! Layne has seriously worked his butt off on our yard - pictures to come when it's all finished! Here are some pics of our recent hunting trip to Fairview - we went with Brooke, Josh, Macee & Tyce and Cael had a blast...thank goodness we are going again next weekend because he was so mad we had to come home - so was Layne :)

Cael's First 4-H Practice

So our family decided that since we have so many grandkids that we should have our own 4-H and because the rules at the real 4-H have changed and they were making all of the kids wear helmets this year....so we all figured we could teach the kids what they needed to know about riding horses. So every Monday night we meet and Grandma & Grandpa's for 4-H unless the weather is bad :) Cael had a blast, we all share horses, and we all had dinner. 11 out of the 12 grandkids rode and it was so fun!

Sand Hollow - Spring Break

For Spring Break we went to Sand Hollow with Layne's Sisters and we had a blast!! Cael played his guts out and it was seriously the best camping! We played in the water, sand & went 4-wheeling - and not to mention the weather was beautiful!! Here are some pics of our fun!!

Happy Birthday Chopper!

I can't believe Cael is 3 today!! He is growing up so fast, and he seriously gets cuter everyday! He totally got spoiled from everybody this birthday. He had 2 parties and had a blast having all of his cousins there. His new phrase that he says to Layne & I is, "that's not a problem is it?" or "just leave me alone for a minute." He acts like he's 15, I don't know what I'll do when he really is. There is nothing greater though than having him say every morning, "I love you mom." or "have a good day at work." Oh wow, I love him! - he is getting so big! So here are some pics of his birthday fun!

His other present from Layne & I...Baby Chicks...he was so excited! We had some last year but our dog ate them :) And that is all he has talked about!

Itty Bitty Ball

I signed Cael up for Itty Bitty Ball at the Legacy Center - I really did it so he could go run around for an hour...he loved it. They had their own little Buzz Light Year team and they got to play football,baseball, basketball, soccer & volleyball - he wasn't into volleyball but he loved football & baseball day. He seriously had a blast!

Reading Time

The other night Cael asked Layne to read to him - I thought it was cute...Then after Cael said, "It's my turn." So he took the book and started reading to Layne...It was so funny. I love these two boys!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! I had the best present ever...Cael & Layne brought me flowers today at work. There is nothing cuter than getting flowers from my favorite boys and getting a kiss from Cael with out forcing it out of him!!
