It's Official...

I just thought I would tell everyone that it is definitely official, Layne and I are officially the kind of parents we said we would never be! I never thought that I would have a kid that loved a movie or show so much that he will stop crying if you turn it on. Cael loves SHREK (the 1st one) he knows the difference and he loves Sesame Street, mostly the muppets. I know it's weird and kind of creepy but it's true, everyday he sits in his high chair with a pickle (yes a pickle) and he watches Big Bird & Elmo dance around, he loves it and it is the only way I can get anything done! Shrek & Donkey are his sick & nighttime friends, when we are up at night for some reason, which happens more often now than when he was a baby, we turn on Shrek and we can lay on the couch and snuggle and he is good to go.


So I have officially hit the crazy mom lifestyle where I am posting a picture of Shrek & Big Bird because they give me 20 minutes to shower and get dressed!!

New Year's

I know I'm a little late but I just got these and they are way too cute to not put on the blog. Cael, Hunter, & Brylee all had a New Year's Eve party and they invited their parents too, so while they were getting their pajamas on we decided to take their pictures just in their diapers, they turned out so cute!!

I have a little baby girl!

When we go over to Grandma Peggy's on Sundays the little girls love to play dress up - even Owen gets into a dance outfit and puts high heels on, so cousin Shelby thought Cael felt left out so she dressed Cael up one night, in a skirt and a cute purple head band. Cael's dad did not think he looked cute as a girl but I thought it was funny!

Cael's Talent

I've been trying to get a video clip to show you Cael's Talent - his dad is so proud - for the last couple of months Cael has been learning how to blow on his duck call! I finally got some video of him yesterday blowing on it - it's so cute!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas, it was so fun watching Cael he could care less about the presents he actually liked the paper and boxes more. His Grandparents spoiled him rotten so we didn't need to get him anything. Here are some pictures of Cael and his presents!

Cael's First Hair Cut

Layne and I decided that Cael needed a hair cut - his little girl curls were getting a little long. So I took him to Aunt Jo's yesterday and he just sat there like he was such a big boy. His hair cut makes him look like he's 15, he looks so grown up! Here are some pics of Cael's Hair Cut.

Cael & Santa

While Layne & I were in Las Vegas, Grandma Jeri and Grandpa Dean had Cael. So they took him to the Larsen Christmas party where Cael got to meet Santa for the first time. They said he loved it - he just looked at him and played with his beared. He is a pretty easy going kid so I'm not surprised he didn't cry. Here are some pictures of Cael & Santa!
